In Malaysia, there is no dispensing right yet for private pharmacy. Therefore if you go to visit doctors in private clinic, you seldom get prescription. What you need to do is just wait and get the medicine later from their dispensary. By the way, there is different practices in hospital .Doctors in hospital will write out a prescription for patient. Therefore it is very useful for patients to be able to read their presriptions themselves. This is because pharmacist may forget to put certain instructions onto the label or supply insufficient stock occasionally.
